Yvonne Drane

Yvonne Drane of Banbury Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Friday 28^th June 2019, aged 81 years.

She was born and grew up in Lancaster before moving to Blackburn at the age of 12 or 13.  Later on, during her working life she worked for a couple of companies including Mullards, then Philips and also Lucas Rists Wires.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed Line Dancing especially at the Poplar Club and Brierfield WMC.  As well as spending time with her family, she also loved going away on holiday abroad and has visited many places such as Thailand, The Carribbean, The U.S.A and South Africa to name but a few.

Yvonne sadly leaves behind her beloved husband Peter, her much loved daughter Lesley, her treasured grandchildren Nikki, Lauren and Callum and also her cherished great granddaughter Alyssa.

She will be very sadly missed by her family and all those who knew her.

A celebration of life service will take place at 1.40pm, on Tuesday 9^th July 2019, at Accrington Crematorium.
