Stewart Ratcliffe

Stewart Ratcliffe

Stewart Ratcliffe of Pot House Lane, Hoyle Bottom, Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully on Thursday 23rd January 2025, aged 86 years.

Throughout his life Stewart worked in farming together with his wife Mavis running Cockerley Fold Farm, off Pot House Lane in Oswaldtwistle for many years.

In his spare time and during his retirement, he enjoyed eating out with friends, watching Blackburn Rovers and also listening to music, especially Frank Sinatra.  He also played in his local pub pool team for a while too.

A dearly loved husband for over 60 years of the late Mavis. Stewart will be sadly missed by those who knew him.

His funeral service will take place at 11.40am, on Monday 10th February 2025, at Accrington Crematorium.
