Thank you so much for making such a very sad occasion, much lighter and very beautiful.

Karen and family would like to thank everyone who attended Gerry’s funeral, as you all made it an incredibly special occasion. Thanks also for the many cards of condolence, messages of sympathy, flowers and donations received at this sad time. Special thanks go to the Rev Paul McNally for his kind words and ministrations, St Paul’s Church, The Palliative Care Team (the District Nurses and the East Lancashire Hospice), also to Lynne and Wendy for being my rock(s) and to Studio Retail for their support and understanding during Gerry’s illness. And finally heartfelt thanks to Paul & Sarah Barton of Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service for giving Gerry the perfect send off, a truly first class, excellent service, that goes the extra mile and gives such personal attention to detail, we simply couldn’t have asked for more.
Excellent service from start to finish, their service was not only caring, but dignified, respectful and very thoughtful. And despite the current situation of organising a funeral during this pandemic, they sorted everything and exceptional care was given to our family, as they went to great lengths to keep our family safe. The flowers they organised on our behalf were absolutely beautiful too. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Thank you to Sarah, Paul and all the staff. My Mum’s celebration of life was beautiful, she would have loved it. The Young Ones song was such a special touch. You really went above and beyond and it was so appreciated by all our family. Lianne Dare & Family
