William “Billy” Knowles

William Knowles of Garden Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday 2^nd August 2022, aged 76 years.

Known to friends and family as Billy, he was a familiar face in and around Oswaldtwistle.  During his life Billy worked as a general scrap dealer as well as a dealer in horses too.  He loved his horses and back at home, he enjoyed watching TV.

He will be very sadly missed by his dear lifelong and close friend Margie.  He was also a cherished uncle and good friend to many.

His funeral service will take place at 1.00pm, on Monday 15^th August 2022 at Holy Trinity Church, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, prior to interment in Dill Hill Cemetery.
