Terence (Terry) Steel

Terence Steel of Clifton Street, Rishton, passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday 9^th October 2021, aged 82 years.

During his working life Terry worked for the Ford Motor Company in Dagenham as well as the Rishton Heating Group.

In his spare time and during his retirement he enjoyed gardening in his allotment, doing DIY, walking his pet dogs Theo, Peggy and the late Rocky, as well as socialising with friends playing darts, dominoes and snooker. He was also a member of Rishton Conservative Club, Rishton Workmen’s Club, Rishton Cricket Club and the Rishton Horticultural Society.

Terry also enjoyed mini breaks away in his camper van and caravan for many years as well as going away on holidays to Spain.

He sadly leaves behind his dear companion Frances and the MacIntosh family, his niece Rosie, nephews Keith and Malcolm and his extended family in the London area.

Terry will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3.00pm, on Tuesday 19^th October 2021, at Accrington Crematorium.
