Susan Woodcock
Susan Woodcock of St Ledger Court, Accrington passed away peacefully in hospital on Thursday 24th December, aged 70 years.
After leaving school at the age of 15, Susan went to work at the cotton mill in Rosegrove. In the 80’s she worked at Joseph Arnold’s, she also worked as a sewing machinist in various places, including Karrimor, Simon Jersey and Victoria Linen.
In her spare time she took pleasure in doing sewing and alterations for neighbours and friends, she also made clothing for people, including Bridesmaid and Wedding dresses for her daughters. She was a keen supporter of animal charities and also enjoyed going ten pin bowling with her late husband Alan, of which they were part of the league at Accrington Superbowl.
She sadly leaves behind her much loved daughters Janet and Lynne and son in laws Shaun and Philip, her treasured grandchildren Abbie, Katie, Gabrielle and Cameron, her dearly loved sisters Vivienne and Anne and nephew Michael.
Her funeral service will take place at 11.00am, on Monday 11th January 2021, at Accrington Crematorium for family and close friends only due to the current restrictions.
