Shirley Burton

Shirley Margaret Rose Burton, passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday 26^th April 2019, aged 67 years.

In her younger years Shirley attended Woodnook School, followed by Ascoe’s, University, Gesham and Rist Wires.  She is probably best known though for her days of running pubs which included the Lang’s Arms, the Britannia and also the Nags Head in Accrington.

Shirley sadly leaves behind her much loved partner of 30 years Stephen, her dearly loved daughter Patricia and her partner Keith, her treasured grandchildren Martin, Kade, Savannah, Porsha, her dear siblings Kevin and Trevor, also a loving aunty and friend to many and the dear sister of the late John, Arthur and Brenda.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2.20pm on Tuesday 7^th May at Accrington Crematorium.
