Sheila Crudden

Sheila Crudden of Shelley Drive, Baxenden, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday 31^st January 2023, aged 73 years.

Sheila started work at Park Brothers in Blackburn, where she was a shorthand typist and later became the wages office manager.  She then took time away from the office to raise her family.  She then returned to work at Hilden Manufacturing, where she was the admin manager and later worked at Oswaldtwistle Mills for over 25 years, running the cash office up until she retired.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to Il Divo concerts with friends.  She also enjoyed many holidays abroad with her husband Michael and together they have visited many different places including South East Asia, India, as well as all over the Mediterranean, but most of all Sheila loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Michael, her much loved sons Peter and Paul, her stepdaughters Jill and Joanne, her treasured grandchildren Poppy, Hattie, Lola, Lucy, Esme, Conor and Aaron and her cherished great grandaughter Indie.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 10.20am on Friday 10^th February 2023, at Accrington Crematorium.
