Roy Clarke

Roy Clarke of Spring Hall, Clayton-Le-Moors, died peacefully on Friday 10^th April, 2015, aged 66 years.

During his life Roy worked as a lorry driver before running his own business the Victoria Sweet Shop.  He enjoyed socialising especially going to King Street Club before it closed.  Roy had various hobbies which included computers, watching old comedies, especially Only Fools and Horses and Last of the Summer Wine, Reading and going out for a drive in the country, but amongst those he took pleasure in walking his dog, Patchy.

Roy was a dearly loved father of Kris, Jackie, and Sam, a dear and good friend of Jean, a treasured grandad of Jessica and Lucy, a dear brother of Maureen and a much loved uncle. Roy will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday 21^st April, 2015, at 9.40am. Family flowers only please c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. Tel: 01254 390542.
