Robert Joseph Crabtree
Robert Crabtree of Nelson Street, Accrington, passed away unexpededly on Tuesday 9th January 2018, aged 56 years.
In his younger years Robert attended Springhill Primary school, then later Accrington Grammar School for Boys. During his life he worked as a HGV driver for various companies including British Solvent Oils, ICI at Darwen and more recently CM Downton Ltd.
In his spare time he enjoyed socialising and was an avid Blackburn Rovers fan and was part of the action group “Venkys Out”.
The beloved husband of Lindsay, a treasured dad of Amy, Jenni, Lewis and Joseph, a dear father in law of Figo, Simon and Emily, a cherished grandad of Engin, Ela, Ebru, Evren, Libby, Daisy, Holly, Milly, Olivia, Summer and Joseph, a much loved brother of Julian, Fiona and Gaynor and a dearly loved son of Ivy and Bob and his partner Margaret.
Robert will be very sadly missed all his loving family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday 22nd January at 3.00pm at Accrington Crematorium.
