RICHARD O’SHAUGHNESSY

Richard O’Shaughnessy of Roegreave Road, Oswaldtwistle, passed away on Tuesday 6^th September 2022, aged 82 years.

During his life Richard worked fitting TV tubes at Mullards as well as an electrician for Cocker Chemicals until he had to finish due to a decline in his health.

In his spare time, he liked to go for a pint in his local pub, as well as follow and watch the football.  He tended to be a bit of a fair weather fan and liked to support and follow those at the top of the table, supporting Leeds in the 70’s, Liverpool in the 80’s, Blackburn in the 90’s and most recently Barcelona.  He also loved listening and dancing to Rock “n” Roll music.

A dearly loved father of Catherine, Martin, David and Steven. Richard was also a good friend to many and will be very sadly missed by all those who knew him.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1.40pm, on Tuesday 27^th September 2022 at Accrington Crematorium.
