Pauline Dixon
Pauline Dixon of Ruskin Avenue, Oswaldtwistle died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday 30th November, 2015, aged 70 years.
During her life Pauline was a hard worker and had various jobs. She loved the outdoors and worked on the Clough Farm at Slaidburn, after that she became self-employed and ran a warehouse on Westwell Street in Great Harwood selling eggs and veg. Later on in life she ran a Bed and Breakfast in Keiss, in Wick, Scotland. People visited the B&B from all around the world, and Pauline being a fabulous knitter, would knit items for people, especially Arran jumpers. These jumpers she sold all over the world and customers would often buy them to take back home.
She also loved gardening, bingo, going on holiday, particularly to Scotland and Cornwall but most of all, she loved spending time with her loving family and her cherished dog Suzi.
Pauline leaves behind her loving husband Linden, her dearly loved sister’s Elaine and Sandra, her much loved sons, Chris, Derek, Antony, Bob and his son Callum, her dear daughter in law’s Dee, Lynn and Sandra, her dear brother in laws John, Trevor, Fred and his wife Pat, Danny and his wife Janet. She was also a treasured grandma, a loving great grandma and much loved auntie.
Pauline will be sadly missed by all her loving family, friends and work colleagues.”
