Patrick Haworth

Patrick Haworth of Central Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday 20^th November 2018, aged 73 years.

In his early years Patrick attended school at St Mary’s in Oswaldtwistle before moving up to Holy Family.  Throughout his life he was a hard worker and worked for various companies including William Blythe, Cocker Chemicals, The Shopfitters, Daniel Thwaites and Gaskells, he also worked self employed up until his retirement.

In his spare time he was a keen gardener, a Greyhound Trainer and also enjoyed horse racing, and liked an occasional flutter on the dogs and horses.  He was also a member of St Mary’s RC church in Oswaldtwistle.

Patrick sadly leaves behind his much loved daughters Susan and Pamela, his dear son in law Andrew, his treasured grandchildren Siobhan, Chloe, Stephanie, Ashley and Harlan, his cherished great grand children Scarlett and Caitlin, he was also a dearly loved brother of John, Michael and the late Ellen, a dear brother in law of Yvonne, Joan and Paddy and also a loving uncle to many.

A Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Mary’s RC Church, Oswaldtwistle on Thursday 29^th November 2018, prior to committal at Accrington Crematorium.
