Mr Roy Britcliffe

Mr Roy Britcliffe of Oswaldtwistle died peacefully after a short illness in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday 17^th July 2013, aged 70 years.

During his life Roy worked for Baron Mercers and retired after 32 years of service.  In his spare time he was also a member of the NASH club until it closed down last year.  Roy greatly enjoyed football, watching movies, reading and playing dominoes, He was also a keen fisherman and was a mmember of the Rhoden fishing club for many years.

Roy was a dearly loved father of Susan, Linda, Elaine and Tony.  A dear father-in-law of Scott, a treasured grandad of Jack, Amy, Jonathan and Sophie and a much loved brother of Alan, Keith and Sheila.

A funeral service will be held on Friday 26^th July 2013 at 9.00am at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations are welcomed in memory of Roy for the National Osteoporosis Society c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
