Michael (Mick) Patrick Prestage

Michael Prestage of Roegreave Road, Oswaldtwistle died suddenly at home on Thursday 26^th January 2017, aged 56 years.

Mick as he was known to his friends was a time served plasterer and was a well-known face around Oswaldtwistle having managed his own plastering business for the last 25 years.

In his spare time Mick loved nothing better than spending time with his family.  He also took time out by going on holiday and has visited Disney World, America and also been on the occasional cruise around the Mediterranean.  Mick loved listening to music, especially House, Northern Soul, Reggae and Rap and was also a keen Blackburn Rovers fan.

Mick was the dearly loved son of Nora and the late Roland, a devoted dad of Courtney and Kayleigh, a much loved brother of Noel, Kate and Madeline, a dear brother in law of Shirley, Stephen and Barry, a cherished uncle of Noel, Charlotte, Kirsty, Danny and Lauren.

Mick will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.

His funeral service will take place at 9.30am on Wednesday 8^th February 2017 at St Mary’s RC Church, Oswaldtwistle prior to committal at Accrington Crematorium
