Melanie Bolton
Melanie Bolton of Clayton-le-Moors, passed away peacefully in the East Lancashire Hospice on Friday 3rd May 2019, aged 46 years.
In her younger years Melanie attended Moorhead High School, she later joined the Police force, where she worked as a custody officer for over 20 years.
In her spare time and when not on duty she enjoyed doing needle craft, where she would use her skills to create clothes. She loved going to watch musicals, especially those performed on the West End as well as walking and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her loving family and friends.
A treasured mum of Oliver and Adam (Oliver’s dad), the daughter of Pauline and Alan, a dear niece of Hilary and Graham, a dear cousin of Rachel and Stephanie and also their families and a cherished best friend of Sharron, Donna, Andrea, Jan and Bobbie.
Melanie will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and her friends.
Her funeral service will take place at 9.30am on Tuesday 14th May 2019, at All Saints Church, Clayton-Le-Moors prior to a private interment at Dill Hall Cemetery.
