Martin Halstead

Martin Halstead of Fir Court, Huncoat, passed away on Saturday 12^th October, aged 68 years.

During his working life Martin worked as a guillotine operator at Cambridge Press Printers in Clayton-Le-Moors from 1967-1982.

In his spare time he enjoyed reading, socialising as well as painting and decorating.  In his younger years he also took part in harness racing at agricultural shows during the summer.  Later on in life he would rather be out and about than stuck in at home, so he travelled everyday throughout the area and visited places such as Skipton, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Liverpool and anywhere that took his fancy.

Martin sadly leaves behind his dear sister Anne and brother Alan.

A celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday 29^th October at 11.40am at Accrington Crematorium.
