Margaret Lynch (nee Macintosh)
Margaret Lynch of Lupin Close, Accrington, died peacefully in hospital on Monday 4th September 2017, aged 85 years.
Daughter of the late James Edward and Ethel Macintosh and sister of the late Alan. During her life Margaret was a hard worker and had a varied career over the years, she has worked for Hyndburn Park School in Accrington, Blake Vitrious Enamel in Clayton-Le-Moors, on the market at Accrington but most recently for Marks & Spencer in Accrington.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, writing letters, spending time with her family and going to her local church. She was a cherished member of St Mary Magdalen’s Church as well as St Peter’s in Accrington, and also a member of the Mother’s Union, she also volunteered as a pastoral auxiliary worker for the Blackburn Deanery.
Margaret sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Philip, her much loved sons Denzil and Stephen, their partners Michaela and Ann, her treasured grandchildren Barclay, Jennifer and Mark, her cherished great grandchildren, her dear sister in law Pat and her many dear friends from St Mary Magdalen’s, St Peter’s, Marks & Spencer’s and her fellow pastoral assistants in the Deanery – God Bless You All.
Her funeral service will take place at 1.00pm on Friday 15th September 2017 at St Mary Magdalen’s Church, Accrington prior to committal at Accrington Crematorium.
