Margaret Crane
Margaret Crane of Woodland Drive, Clayton-Le-Moors died peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side on Tuesday 30th March, aged 85 years.
During her life Margaret worked for the Royal Ordinance Factory at Darwen/Blackburn as well as on Highams Flower Stall in Blackburn.
In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, travelling, reading books and doing puzzles. She was also an active member of the Lancashire & South Cumbria Kidney Patients Association of which she was passionate about and a keen fundraiser for, sadly though, despite their best efforts, the association had to fold. Margaret was also a former treasurer of the All Saints, Clayton-Le-Moors Scout Group.
She sadly leaves behind her dearly loved children, her daughter Susan and her sons Michael and Steven, also her treasured grandchildren Rebecca, Annabelle, Oliver, Thomas, Isabella, Matthew and Harry.
She will be very sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A private funeral service will be held for family and invited close friends only (due to the current Government restrictions).
