Lynsey Ann Hunt

Lynsey Hunt sadly passed away at home in New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, on Sunday, 5th April aged 43.

On leaving Rhyddings High School, Lynsey gained a degree in Early Childhood Studies at Ipswich University. After working for a short spell as a Nursery Nurse, she attended Manchester University and gained her degree in Nursing Studies. She worked as a Staff Nurse at Northern General in the intensive care unit, followed by a District Nursing post in Blackburn. She was described as a loving, caring and gentle Nurse and had a reputation for being such a kind person. She touched hundreds of lives.

She loved travelling and toured Europe for 3 months and then went on to travel and work in Australia. One of her great loves was music and walking in the countryside.
A much loved Mother of Dylan and Darcy, Daughter of Barry & Kath, Sister to Chris, Sister-in-Law to Charlie, loving Aunty to Mia and Euan. Lynsey will be missed by all her loving family and friends.
