Leslie Debryshire

Leslie Derbyshire of Roegreave Road, Oswaldwitstle, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Thursday 29^th September 2022, aged 76 years.

Throughout his working life, Les was a hard worker and worked for a few companies including the Shopfitters, Hilden Manufacturing and Terry Hogan Plumbers in Oswaldtwistle.

In his spare time and during his retirement he greatly enjoyed socialising and was a member of various clubs over the years, including James St, the Irish Legion and also Oswaldtwistle Conservative Club.  He also loved going away on holiday and has been travelled to many places including Canada, Spain and the Balearic Islands, with his favourite destinations being Benidorm, the Costa Brava, Ibiza and Majorca. He also liked fishing and gardening but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially taking the grandchildren to Blackpool and Cleveleys.

A beloved and cherished husband of Doreen, a much loved father of Neil and the late Lee, a dear father in law of Louise and Wendy and a treasured grandad of Ryan, Hannah, Bethany and Caitlin.

Les will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1.00pm on Thursday 13^th October 2022 at Accrington Crematorium.
