Lesley Stewart

Lesley Stewart of John Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Friday 23^rd September 2022, aged 74 years.

During her life Lesley worked at Hollands Pies and Highams before emigrating with her husband and 2 children to New Zealand where she spent several years working as a gardener on an estate.

Lesley’s family meant the world to her and she loved nothing better than spending time with them as well as going out with friends. She also loved dancing, where she could pretty much out dance anyone.  She also loved listening to music, especially Motown and was also a member of the former Elim Church in Accrington.

She sadly leaves behind her beloved husband Les, her much loved children Claire and Andrew and her dearly loved sisters Maxine, Madeline and Bobby and brothers Steven and Chris.

Her funeral service will be held at 3.00pm on Friday 14^th October 2022, at Accrington Crematorium.
