Leah Brassey

Leah Brassey of Cardigan Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in hospital, on Thursday 2^nd February 2023, aged 90 years.

Leah was probably best known as the owner of her bridal shop which she ran for many years and which she loved.  She has had many happy brides over the years, some of whom she has still kept in touch with years later.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed holidays with her late husband Eric and has travelled extensively all around the world and in more recent years holidayed with her family and friends.  And also a member of the St James Day Trippers.

She sadly leaves behind her much loved children Ian and Ann, her dear daughter in law Deborah and son in law Simon, her treasured grandchildren Jessica, Gemma and Thomas. Also a dear sister in law of Joan and good friend to many.

Leah will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

Her funeral service will be held at 11.40am on Thursday 9^th February 2023, at Accrington Crematorium.
