Kenneth Killingbeck (KK)
Kenneth Killingbeck of Laburnum Drive, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Saturday 3rd October 2020, aged 90 years.
During his working life Ken was a railway fireman and proudly served in the East Lancashire Regiment, B Company and the 2nd Battalion Parachute Regiment. He also worked as a maintenance engineer for Whitbreds for over 20 years.
In his spare time and during his retirement Ken turned his hand to DIY, he also enjoyed watching classic films and TV, in particular wrestling and darts.
He was also a member and club founder of the 2 Para Reunion Club.
Ken sadly leaves behind his dearly loved wife Margaret, his much loved son Michael, his treasured grandaughters Sallyann and Larraine and also his cherished great grandchildren Olivia, Eleanor, Joshua and Isaac.
Ken will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11.00am on Monday 12th October at Accrington Crematorium for immediate family and close friends only (due to the current restrictions).
