Kathleen Parr

Kathleen Parr of Hornby Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in hospital on Saturday 27^th April 2019, aged 78 years.

In her youth Kathleen attended Rhyddings High School before training and working as an auxiliary nurse for 28 years at both Blackburn Royal and Accrington Victoria Hospital.  She was also a member of St John’s Ambulance.

In her spare time she enjoyed dancing.  She took pleasure in going away on holidays, especially to Cockerham Sands Caravan Park and Benidorm, but most of all she loved spending time with her loving family and friends.

A dearly loved wife of Les, a much loved mother of Lorraine, Amanda and Paul, a cherished grandma of Ryan, Ethan, Macy, Reeve, Max, Jordan, Christopher and Abigail as well as a loving great grandma to Ollie.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11.40am on Wednesday 8^th May at Accrington Crematorium.
