Kathleen Holden

Kathleen Holden, formerly of Higher Bold Venture Farm, Oswaldtwistle died peacefully on Sunday 14^th January 2018, after a long brave battle against dementia, aged 87 years.

In her younger years Kathleen was part of the land army after the war.  She later helped and worked on the family farms in Oswaldtwistle up until her retirement, over the years she worked delivering the large milk round that covered both Oswaldtwistle and Accrington.

She loved going on holiday and greatly enjoyed travelling the world, but most of all she loved spending time with her loving family.

Kathleen sadly leaves behind her partner of 40 years Jim, her much loved children Jimmy, Ann and Bill and their partners Vicky, John and Linda, her treasured grandchildren and also her cherished great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service will be held, but everyone is warmly welcome to share their memories of Kathleen at the Accrington Golf Club on Thursday 25^th January 2018 at 1.00pm.
