June Rimmngton

June Rimmington, formerly of Haworth Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 4^th May 2022, aged 84 years.

During her life June worked as shorthand typist for English Electric, the local council planning office as well as the Church Council, she also worked covering temporary posts for various solicitors offices.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed music, going on holidays abroad, her favourite place being the southwest of Spain, a bit more closer to home she enjoyed shopping days at Lytham and going for meals out.  She also enjoyed watching quizzes on TV and was a member of her local congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.

A dearly loved daughter of the late Joe and Mary (Polly), a much loved cousin, auntie and also a friend to many.

A memorial service will take place at 11.00am, on Friday 20^th May, at Accrington Crematorium, prior to committal.
