Judith Peacock

Judith Peacock - ObsJudith Peacock of Hudson Street, Accrington, passed away peacefully on Saturday 19th January 2019 in the East Lancashire Hospice, with her daughter by her side after an illness bravely fought, aged 63 years.

Throughout her life Judith was a caring person and worked as a state registered nurse in the QA Core at Burnley hospital.  She also for a time worked in the Armed Forces serving abroad with husband David as an SR nurse in the Nursing Corps working in nursing homes in Gibraltar, Spain, Germany as well as Winchester.

In her spare time she enjoyed visiting her grandchildren in Hereford, knitting, sewing tapestry’s and also doing jigsaws.  She was also a member of the Royal British Legion (Accrington Branch) and St Anne’s RC Church in Accrington.

A beloved daughter of Hannah and the late Dennis, a dearly loved wife of David, a much loved mother of Rachel and Mark, a treasured grandma of Gaius and Calib and a dear sister of Stella, Susan, Jill, Gregory and Paul. She will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11.00am on Tuesday 29th January 2019 at St Anne’s RC Church, Cobham Road, Accrington prior to committal at Accrington Crematorium.
