Jennifer Clarkson

Jennifer Clarkson of Yew Tree Drive, Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully in hospital, after a short illness bravely fought, on Saturday 21^st August 2021, aged 70 years.

During her life Jennifer worked at Barlow Rowland Solicitors for over 30 years prior to taking her retirement.

In her spare time, she was an active member of Rhyddings Methodist Church, where she shared her caring ways helping in the “Little Lambs” baby and toddler group.  She was also a member of the Darwen Ladies Circle & Tangent.

After Jennifer had taken her retirement she greatly enjoyed being “A Lady Who Lunched” but most of all loved spending time with her loving family, especially her treasured grandchildren.

She sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Brian, her much loved son James and daughter in law Charlotte and her cherished grandchildren Joshua and Georgia.

Jennifer will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1.30pm, on Thursday 2^nd September 2021, at Rhyddings Methodist Church, prior to committal at Accrington Crematorium.  It was Jennifer’s wish for those who attend to wear bright colours.
