Jean Wolstemholme

Jean Wolstenholme died peacefully at Wellfield Care Home on Monday 10^th May 2021, aged 93 years.

During her life Jean used to run her own pet shops as well as a dog grooming business.  She also bred pedigree dogs and rabbits.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed helping watching television programmes, especially ones about animals and monkeys.  She was also very skilled at making hand crafted collectors Teddy Bears.

Jean sadly leaves behind her much loved daughters Gillian, Brenda and Helan, her treasured grandchildren Sara and Jared and her cherished great grandchildren James and Melanie.

A private funeral service will be held for family and invited close friends only (due to the current Government restrictions).

Family flowers only please, donations are welcomed in memory of Jean for the Lewy Body Society (which helps fund research into causes and cures for Lewy Body Dementia), and may be made by phone, by post, or by envelope drop off at the funeral home (Accrington or Oswaldtwistle), further enquires to Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136-8 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
