Jean Gaffney

Jean Gaffney, of Lonsdale Street, Accrington, died peacefully on Tuesday 11^th June 2024, aged 82 years.

During her life Jean worked for several companies over the years including Rishy Crisps, Ewbank, Rist Wires, Noel Escorts (Pickle Factory) and Golden Graphics.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed reading, watching TV, listening to music as well as socialising and going to local pubs and clubs including Spring Hill Club, The Printers Arms and the Tinker and Budget.  She also adored her pets, with her dogs and cats always being a big part of her life.

A dearly loved wife of the late Jimmy, a much loved mother of Terry and the late Brian and Julie. Also a dear mother in law of Vicky, a treasured grandma of Rachael, Natalie, Ryan, Lisa, Kaye and Alwyn, a dear sister of David and a loving companion of Pixie the cat.

Jean will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12.20pm, on Wednesday 26^th June 2024, at Accrington Crematorium Chapel.
