Jean Dwyer of Tennyson Ave, Oswaldtwistle, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday 25th August 2020, aged 80 years.
During her life Jean worked firstly at the local mill and then for Bythe’s as a kitchen assistant, she then later went to work as a cleaner at Stoneyhurst College, the Golden Cross Pub and also the James St Club.
In her spare time and during her retirement she loved to read, knit, complete crosswords and also watch TV, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She sadly leaves behind her much loved children Claire, Beverly, Susan, Lisa, Carol, David and Paul, her dearly loved grandchildren Kiera, Mason, Sam, Louise, Emma, Ryan, Morgan, Anthony, Wayne and Lynsay, her 17 treasured great grandchildren and also her cherished great, great grandchild.
A funeral service for immediate family and close friends only (due to the current restrictions) will take place (today) Friday 4th September, at Immanuel Parish Church, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, at 2.45pm, prior to interment in the churchyard. Anyone wishing to pay their last respects may stand (socially distanced) on New Lane.
