Jacqueline Jill Horrocks

Jacqueline Jill Horrocks (nee Pittard) of Oswaldtwistle died peacefully in the East Lancashire Hospice on Friday, September, 19, 2014, aged 82 years.

During her life Jacqueline worked as a receptionist for her father Dr Pittard as well as for Burco Dean and Rists.

Jacqueline greatly enjoyed gardening and walking, she also sang in the choir at St Paul’s Church in Oswaldtwistle for over 40 years and was a loyal season ticket holder at Blackburn Rovers.

A much loved daughter of the late Dr T J Pittard, a dearly loved wife of the late Allon, a dear sister of the late Simon, a loving aunt to John, Angelina, Wendy and Craig, a treasured nan to Victoria, Rebekah, Elizabeth and Lucinda, a dear sister in law to Alice, Frank, May and the late Elsie and the late John.

Jacqueline will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 10.30am at St Paul’s Church, Oswaldtwistle prior to cremation at Accrington Crematorium.  Family flowers only please but donations are welcomed in lieu of flowers for the East Lancashire Hospice c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
