Jacqueline (Jackie) Swindlehurst
Jackie Swindlehurst of Bishop Street, Accrington died peacefully at Addison Court Nursing Home whilst surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 1st October 2017, aged 71 years.
Jackie grew up and attended primary school in St Just in Cornwall before the family moved to the Isles of Scilly, here she remained and worked as a hairdresser until she met her husband Anthony and moved with him to Accrington in 1965. Jackie was a hard worker and had a varied career she worked for Marks & Spencer in Accrington, for AML Leisure which took her all over Lancashire and most recently at Gala Bingo before she retired.
In her spare time Jackie enjoyed playing darts and dominoes, she also loved doing crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and more recently playing computer games.
Jackie sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Anthony, her much loved daughters Sarah and Andrea and her treasured granddaughter Rhianne.
She will very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10.20am on Tuesday 10th October 2017 at Accrington Crematorium.
