Jacqueline (Jackie) Cocker

Jackie Cocker of Bridgefield Close, Rishton, died unexpectedly on Thursday 28^th September 2017, aged 53 years.

In her younger years Jackie attended St John’s primary school followed by Norden high school.  During her life she worked for Priestley’s Footwear in Great Harwood, the CO-OP in Clayton-Le-Moors and also as a cook at Belvedere Care Home.

In her spare time she loved going away in her caravan to Blackpool, especially with her family, she also liked her holidays in Greece and also spread her wings a little further by taking a trip over to Australia. She also loved to watch her local team Burnley play.

Without a doubt though Jackie’s life was devoted to her family and most of her time was spent with her mum, dad, children and grandchildren.

A dearly loved daughter or Terence and Margaret Cocker, a much loved and treasured mum of Leanne, Gemma, Nicola and Terence, a cherished grandma of Ethan, Elle-Mae, Blake, Jack-Daniel, Amelia, Harri and the late Abigail-Rose and also a dear sister to John, Phillip, Diane, Lyndon and the late David.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday 11^th October 2017 at 12 noon at St Hubert’s Church, Great Harwood prior to interment in Great Harwood Cemetery.  Family flowers only please, but donations are welcome in memory of Jackie for the Neonatal Unit (NICU) at Burnley c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136-8 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
