Jacqueline Benjamin, known to family and friends as Jackie, passed away peacefully on Sunday 27th September 2026, aged 73 years.
During her working life Jackie was a familiar face for many years at the Cats Whiskers in Burnley. She also had a palette business for a few years too.
In her spare time and during her retirement, she loved travelling and has visited many places including destinations all over Europe, as well as further afield to Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago. She also loved music and going to festivals, with Bob Marley and Reggae being her favourites.
Jackie was a dearly loved daughter of Irene and the late Jack, a much-loved mum of Leesa, Matthew and Terrie, mother in law to Joanne and a treasured nana and great nana. She was also a dear sister of Andrew, Paul, Julie and Darren and auntie to many. She will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10.00am, on Friday 9th October 2026, at Burnley Crematorium, where those attending are invited to wear a splash of colour, and where the normal black attire is not needed.
