Ivy Chamberlain

Ivy Chamberlain of Browning Avenue, Oswaldtwistle died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday 12th May, aged 92 years.

During her life Ivy worked at Ewbank as well as Joseph Arnolds for a time.

In her spare time and during her retirement she greatly enjoyed her breaks away at the Caravan at Crow Trees Caravan Park, in Tosside, Yorkshire, she also loved playing bingo and ballroom dancing.  She was also a member of the Dale Street WMC, the Miners Club and also the Stanhill WMC, where she enjoyed many nights socialising with family and friends.

Ivy was a beloved wife of the late Ken, a dearly loved sister of Margery and Murial, a much loved mum of Michael and the late Margaret, a dear mother in law of Sheila, a treasured grandma of John, Damian, Debbie, Diane, Kelly and Paul and also a loving great grandma and great, great grandma.

She will be very sadly missed by all those who knew her.

A private funeral service will be held for family and invited close friends only (due to the current Government restrictions).
