Iris Neville

Iris Neville of Dorchester Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday 30^th August 2019, aged 83 years.

During her life Iris worked as a winder at the Enfield Mill and also as a childminder.

She loved watching her soaps, especially Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Eastenders.  Iris also cared for and housed lots of rescue dogs over the years.  Later in life she enjoyed holidays abroad to Tenerife, the seaside, especially Blackpool slightly closer to home and also going on coach and day trips shopping with her family.

A dearly loved wife of Kenneth, a much loved mother of Pauline and Paul, a dear mother in law of Julie and Trevor, a treasured grandma of Hazel, Stephen and Jack and a cherished great grandma of Keeley, Lewis, McKenzie, Emilia, Jess and Ashley.

Iris will be very sadly missed by her family and friends.

Her funeral service will take place at 1.45pm, Friday 6^th September 2019, at Immanuel Parish Church, followed by interment in the churchyard.
