Irene Fielding died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital after a long illness on Friday 25th September, 2015, aged 74 years.
Irene was probably best known to many for her hairdressing, and ran her own shop. She greatly enjoying socialising and talking to everyone and had many friends both in and out of this role. Early on in life she met her dearly loved husband Les and spent 52 happy years of marriage together. Irene was happiest when spending time with her loving family especially her grandchildren. She was always one to help out and assisted alongside her family with the donkey’s at Ossy Mills for a time.
In her spare time she loved staying at the family’s static caravan homed in Clitheroe, Irene also used to be a Cub Scout leader in Clayton-Le-Moors. She was always around when people needed her and she especially enjoyed helping out with her son’s pub down in Gloucestershire when he went away on his holidays. During these times she made lots of new friends, and here too she will also be very sadly missed.
Irene leaves behind her dearly loved husband Les, her much loved sons Craig and Scott, her dear daughter in law Naomi, her grandchildren Joshua, Roxanne, Shelby, Emily, Bria and Morgan and also her cherished great grandchildren Prudence and Joseph.
