Gordon Smith

Gordon Smith of Duke Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away on Tuesday 22^nd October 2019, aged 69 years.

In his youth Gordon attended New Lane School and later Rhyddings High School and then worked for 28 years at the Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre.

He loved going to the horse racing, as well as caravanning and car booting.  He also took pleasure in going on holiday and spending time with his grandchildren.

Gordon sadly leaves behind his loving life partner of 36 years Eileen, his dear step children David, Susan, Janet, Steven and Billy, a treasured grandad and cherished great-grandad, also a much loved brother of Betty and Harold and uncle to Andrew, Tommy, Jack, Samantha and Kim.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10.20am on Friday 1^st November 2019, at Accrington Crematorium.
