Elsie Marsden

Elsie Marsden passed away peacefully on Saturday 11th June at Braeside Care Home, Oswaldtwistle.  She was born in 1920 and during her life she worked as a cotton weaver and later for Cadbury’s World of Chocolate.  Over the course of her life Elsie married 3 times, firstly becoming Mrs Smart, she later re-married in 1953 to Leonard Warden and finally to Mr Thomas Marsden 1978.
