Eileen Eastwood
Eileen Eastwood, of Acorn Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in the Royal Preston Hospital after a short illness on Monday 28th June, aged 78 years.
Throughout her life Eileen’s greatest love was spending time with her family, this included going for meals out and day trips. She also enjoyed going away on holiday and has visited many places including Egypt, Cyprus, Tenerife, Mexico and the Pacific Coast. She also loved nature, especially spending time in her garden and enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife when they visited.
Eileen sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Terence (Terry), her much loved children Tina and Craig and her treasured grandchildren Mollie, Jack, Tilly, Ben, Nicole and Ross.
She will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and her friends.
A private funeral service will be held for family and invited friends (due to the current Government restrictions).

Just to say thank you to each and every one of you for your words of sympathy and love. Eileen was my life, my love, my truly loyal wife through thick and thin. My world collapsed around me when she was taken, she was such a special person.
Thanks again to everyone for your support, thanks to my family, children and grandchildren, thanks to Paul and Sara our funeral directors for their professional and compassionate way they carried out their work. Thanks again to everyone in these very difficult times.
