Derek Shanks

Derek Shanks of Monk Street, Accrington, passed away on Wednesday 26^th June 2019, aged 60 years.

During his life Derek worked at F & K Knowles slipper factory on Kay Street in Oswaldtwistle and also Express Gifts in Church.  In his spare time he liked football and socialising with friends and was a well known character around Accrington.

Derek was a dear brother of Dave, Antony and Susan and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 9.40am, Tuesday 9^th July 2019 at Accrington Crematorium.
