Derek Morris

Derek Morris of Queens Drive, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Thursday 26^th October 2023, aged 90 years.

During his life Derek served in the Royal Navy for 7 years, then for a while at Clock Garages in Accrington, before then moving to work for Hyndburn Council for over 25 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, watching football and cricket, as well as collecting coins.  He was also a life-long dedicated member of the Royal British Legion.

Derek sadly leaves behind his much loved daughter Kimberley, his treasured grandchildren Avienna, Katie and Jack and his dearly loved sister Joan.

His funeral service will be held at 1.40pm on Thursday 9^th November, at Accrington Crematorium.
