Derek Bradshaw

Derek Bradshaw of Broadfield, Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully in the East Lancashire Hospice on Thursday 5th November 2015, aged 62 years.

During his life Derek was a hard worker, he worked for various companies starting out as a welder at JH Howard, then Kemson Engieneering & Moin Gas up until 2002.  He then became a painter and decorator, taking pride in all his work.

In his spare time Derek enjoyed gardening, fishing, DIY and watching films, but most of all he loved spending time with his loving family.

Derek leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years Lesley, his much loved sons Craig and Simon and his treasured grandchildren.  He was also a dearly loved father in law, brother in law, brother and uncle.

“Derek will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.”

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the District Nurses, the Hospice and the Haematology Unit for all their care given to Derek.
