Dennis Martin

Dennis Martin, of Walmsley Close, Church, Accrington, sadly passed away on Saturday 16^th September 2023, aged 80 years.

Over the years Dennis has worked for various companies including the Textiles Mill, Moseley’s Bakery, Butlins at Minehead and Blackpool Pleasure Beach on the doors as Security.

In his spare time and during his retirement he enjoyed going to his local working men’s clubs, including the Canine, Stanley Street, Sydney Street and the Pioneer in its hay day.  He also enjoyed doing quizzes and watching horse racing and greyhound racing, as well as going on days to the races. He also loved his two cockatiel pet birds.

Dennis was a dearly loved husband of Joyce, a much loved brother of Colin, brother in law of June and uncle of Andrew and Wesley, a dear step father of Linda and Joyce and a treasured grandad of Kyle, Shay, Ellie May and John.

He will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11.00am on Wednesday 27^th September 2023, at Accrington Crematorium.
