David Moore

David Moore of Spring Street, Accrington, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday 2^nd May 2023, aged 81 years.

During his life David had various jobs working as a coach driver for Peter Hicks, then for a while at Moss Gears, before working as a delivery driver for FPW Axles up until taking his retirement.  In his spare time and during his retirement he greatly enjoyed watching football and was a lifelong Manchester City Supporter. He was also a steam train enthusiast, with the East Lancashire Railway being the one he loved best.  Back in the day he also played snooker for the Willow Mount Social Club.

David sadly leaves behind his dearly loving wife Tracey; he will also be very sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Anyone who wishes to come along to pay their respects to David are kindly asked to please meet directly at Accrington Crematorium, where his celebration of life service will take place at 9.40am, on Wednesday 17^th May 2023.
