Colin Brindle

Mr Colin Brindle of Spring St, Rishton, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, aged 73 years.

During his life Colin was a builder’s labourer for various companies and also a kitchen porter for the Lowry Theatre in Salford.  He was also a member of the Rishton Christian Fellowship Group. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing with his friend Dave and helping other people.  He devoted his time helping those less fortunate than himself especially the Homeless in Manchester where he gave his time running Hope House in Lea.  He also spent over ten years working with Asylum Seekers in Manchester and Salford.

Colin leaves behind his dearly loved wife Doreen, his much loved children Julie, Steven, Michael, Joan, Susan and John, his dear son and daughter in laws, his treasured grandchildren and cherished great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday 16th June at 9.40am at Accrington Crematorium prior to cremation.
