Clifford Bratby

Clifford Bratby of Grimshaw Street, Great Harwood died peacefully in a private nursing home on 19^th March 2017, aged 76 years.

Clifford was born and brought up in Derby and spent his early working years at Derby Pavings and also in a brewery for a time.  He later moved up north and worked firstly for Accrington NORI before moving on to work at OXO in Great Harwood.

In his spare time Clifford enjoyed gardening and fixing bikes.  He was also a movie buff and liked music, but without a doubt his favourite past time was spending time with his family.

Clifford sadly leaves behind his dearly loved daughters Gillian and Julie, his treasured grandchildren Shane, Damian, Rachel, Lee, his cherished great grandchildren, his extended family Marie, Paula, Wendy, Caroline, Clive, Terry and all their children as well as his dear friends.

Clifford will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will take place in the Barton & Hallworth Service Chapel at 10.15am on Wednesday 29^th March, 2017 prior to interment at Great Harwood Cemetery.
