Christine Cowburn
Christine Cowburn of Langho died peacefully on Monday 1st June, 2015, aged 69 years.
Throughout her life Christine has been a registered nurse working for the NHS at Park Lee, Queens Park and also Springfield Hospital, achieving 40 years of service.
In her spare time she ran a craft group at Brakendale Sheltered Housing in Blackburn and also enjoyed knitting and creating her own crafts.
Christine was a much loved grandma of Darrel and Leonie, Louis and Isabelle, a treasured great grandma of Gracie and a dear mother to Michelle.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday 9th June, 2015 at Accrington Crematorium, at 9.40am. Flowers are welcome in memory of Christine or if preferred donations for The COPD Foundation c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
